Scrim: A New Orleans Story of Resilience and Rescue

$25.00

SCRIM: A New Orleans Story of Resilience and Rescue is the heartwarming true story of a scrappy terrier who defied the odds, surviving hurricanes, gunshot wounds, and even a rare New Orleans snowstorm. Originally featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and major news networks, Scrim became a symbol of the city’s unbreakable spirit. Written by lifelong animal advocate Kaye Courington, this beautifully illustrated book follows Scrim’s harrowing journey from danger to safety, thanks to a dedicated community of rescuers led by Michelle Cheramie of Zeus’ Rescues. With unwavering determination, they worked for months to bring Scrim to his forever home. More than a rescue story, SCRIM is a testament to resilience, hope, and the power of compassion. In a generous act of giving back, all author royalties will be donated to local animal rescues.
