    About the Author
    Madison Webb is the author of Mardi Gras in New Orleans, a children’s picture book that brings to life the spirit and vibrancy of New Orleans’ famed Carnival season. She studied Journalism at the University of Florida and was a contributing writer for The Independent Florida Alligator, The Coronado Eagle & Journal, and Cleveland.com. She spent her career in development and grant writing for museums and other non-profit organizations. She has lived all over the country, but New Orleans is the only city that feels like home. She enjoys running, playing tennis, cheering on the Saints and Gators, reading biographies, and going fishing with her family. She lives in New Orleans with her husband, Matt, their three young boys, and their dog, Margeaux.

    Mellissa Moore is one of New Orleans’ beloved Jackson Square artists. Much of her artwork depicts New Orleans themes as well as her love of animals and pop culture. You can find prints of her work or contact her about original artwork via her online store.
